I think this is my favourite use for my doily die that I’ve found so far, miniature doily envelopes. They’re super cute and can form part of a number of awesome craft projects – even better they’re really easy to make. To make DIY doily envelopes you need: A doily (I made mine with the DoCrafts Doily Die) Paper glue A ruler (Trumpton design optional) 1. The Sizzix Texture Boutique Beginner’s Kit is great for papercraft newcomers (like me) to get to grips with embossing, cardmaking and other papercrafting activities. I’m constantly on the look out for storage for my craft room, I have a lot of stuff crammed in to a little space but storage isn’t always pretty and as part of my ‘things to do with doilies’ series I found a cute, shabby chic solution. The humble doily, favourite of grandmas everywhere, has had a new lease of life since the shabby chic trend hit interior design. Just like everything else, doilies don’t have to just be used as mats.
